Just before the Gay Teabaggers Tea Party Central Park.
I am getting ready for the Gay Teabaggers Tea Party in Central Park, chiefly by dancing around to “White Lines.” I feel like Oedipus did when, his father vanquished, he finally got to marry his mother. Jubilant. At the tea parties I’ve attended the group groove was reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and prayers by Thomas Jefferson. I am so ready for this. They say there will be 6 Sarah Palins.
Just in case, I’m bringing “White Lines”:
Athletes rejected, governors corrected
Gangsters, thugs and smugglers
are thoroughly respected
The money gets divided
The women get excited
Now I’m broke and it’s no joke
It’s hard as hell to fight it, don’t buy it!
(The following is “Cavern,” which “White Lines,” samples, I just thought this video was really cool.)
And “True Faith”:
I feel so extraordinary
Something’s got a hold on me
I get this feeling I’m in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
The chances are we’ve gone too far
You took my time and you took my money
Now I fear you’ve left me standing
In a world that’s so demanding
