Hey, I was on Fox News! Very briefly.

Minute 1:56 to 2:02.

I’m shouting “Kellogg’s! His sponsor! Kellogg’s cereal! Think about buying Kellogg’s cereal!”

Boy, that’s kind of ambivalent, isn’t it. It almost sounds like a suggestion. I should have been shouting “Boycott Kellogg’s.” Darn it.

Hey, Fox News reported it accurately. Thank God for Fox News.

UPDATE: My mother told me that she thinks that in the context “Think about buying Kellogg’s cereal” sounded like “Think it over,” and she said it was better than “boycott” because less extreme. That was my point, actually. I’m a mother, I’m busy, I’m afraid I can’t truthfully say I’ll boycott these products, but I will keep it in mind when I shop, and between a cereal produced by Kellogg’s and General Mills, say, I will choose General Mills. However, if we’re pulling off the thruway to run into a rest stop, and we get McDonald’s, and Lulu wants some, if the only product I can find in the convenience store to give her as a “McDonald’s-substitute” is a Kellogg’s product, so be it.
